Modern interior design by BMAC

How We Do It

BMAC's team brings decades of residential design and construction expertise to your project.

We follow a proven five-step process to ensure project success, with the goal of delivering an exceptional experience and a home transformation you'll love.

1. Listen

Listening is where it all begins—and it's something we truly take pride in. This journey is about you, and we're here to understand exactly what you want.

2. Define

We present a comprehensive Scope of Work for your review and approval prior to taking any further steps. This ensures our understanding of your project is aligned with yours.

3. Design

This is the fun part—turning your dream into a design you can visualize. We're team players and can collaborate effectively with other design professionals.

4. Price

Our proposals include a breakdown of costs by trade category for full transparency. When needed, we provide value engineering services to help align the project's scope with your budget.

5. Build

BMAC's team builds precisely to your specifications. We provide ongoing updates, and any issues that arise are handled swiftly and transparently. We strictly adhere to our critical path schedule.

Two Ways to Start

1. Simple Project

As an example, on a bathroom transformation, our BMAC representative will visit your home, listen to what you want and define the scope of work.

BMAC will provide a proposal with line-item pricing by trade. There is no charge for this initial effort by BMAC. If it feels right, we will issue a contract and schedule the work.

2. Larger Project

As an example, for an addition, our BMAC representative will visit your home to gain an understanding of your vision and discuss budget expectations.

We'll then provide a comprehensive, three phase design/bid/build proposal outlining the scope of work and cost of each of the following phases:

  1. 1. Design & preliminary pricing
  2. 2. Construction documents & final pricing
  3. 3. Construction on either a fixed cost or cost-plus basis

To begin, a modest retainer is requested upon your approval of the proposal and then we start the process.
